Has grown into a well-established entity serving the city-wide community of Kingsport and the surrounding areas
Purpose of H.O.P.E.
To educate the surrounding area youth with life skills, with a view of building future business and community leaders; to educate and advocate multi-cultural understanding within the Tri-Cities area. To teach and promote community services, outreach skills and other opportunities to our area youth.
H.O.P.E.'s program targets the following groups of individuals:
Teens interested in development of life skills for ongoing success (ages 11-19)
Joyce Dockery Scholarships
Each year we provide a $500.00 scholarship to a qualified graduating Senior who has followed the H.O.P.E. Youth Leadership Program and has a 3.0 or higher GPA.

Must be a H.O.P.E. leader.

The recipient must follow the Tennessee/Virginia Scholar Program.

This scholarship is only available to those who have been actively involved in our H.O.P.E. Leadership Program.

The recipients are approved by the Board of Directors on meeting the qualifications of the scholarship.
